NEW TO ISB?
ISBPA AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
Welcome! The ISB PA is very proud to welcome you and your family to our school community. We are here to help you and your family settle into school and in Breda. We also have experienced living abroad from first hand and know how stressful and difficult it can be in terms of finding out what works in day to day life.
We have developed some programs and resources such as a welcome Booklet, New Parent Ambassador Program and many groups and clubs to help you get settled. Please look through the information on this page and if you have any questions please reach out!
With kindest regards,
Your ISB Parent Association

WELCOME BOOKLET
We have created a welcome booklet to help make the transition to life in the Netherlands easier. It contains a great deal of information and resources to help you navigate getting settled and also through everyday life here in your home. Click here to check it out...
Being in a new school or town can sometimes be overwhelming.

In order to help new families navigate their way through the school year we introduced the ISB Ambassador Program.

New parents are paired with settled parents, one on one, to create a warm welcoming atmosphere and to make integration into the ISB community accessible and easy.
The idea is to have a very informal cup of coffee or tea together and make some time to answer questions that the new parent may have. When and where and how often is all up to you. Volunteers can sign up by sending an email to parentcommitte@isbreda.com

If you are a new ISB parent and you wish to be connected to a settled ISB parent, please email parentcommitte@isbreda.com

ISBPA SOCIAL GROUPS & CLUBS
We have many social groups and clubs which cover a variety of interests. Some are based around a hobby and some are purely social. All offer a way to meet and connect with others in our community. Each group has its own WhatsApp group. Scroll below for more information or to join please click here.
Ladies that
Lunch
A group of mothers who meet once a month just to socialise and have lunch. Why not join and meet some people? Every month we try and find different location for lunch. Suggestions welcome!
ISB Dads' Night Out
This is an independent event organised by an ISB father. The fathers meet every first school Friday of the month at O'Meres Irish Pub. if you would like to participate, you can be added to the WhatsApp group.
ISB Crafers & Crochet
Co
A group of mothers who meet twice a month just to socialize and share the passion for crafting in general, crochet and knitting. You do not need to be a crafty person to join. If you like a nice talk and a cup of tea / coffee just join!
ISB Girls Just Wanna have fun!
Initially this group met monthly to catch up in a local cafe in Breda but it has evolved during Covid times to become a resource and practical tip sharing group via WhatsApp. We look forward to getting back to getting out as soon as possible!
ISB
Español
Join our Spanish ISB Group! What a great way to laugh, chat and share a cup of tea or coffee or even lunch together. This group will meet every first Tuesday per month for breakfast. Todo en Español!
