Dear Students and Parents,
On Friday 13 September 24 from 11.00 - 14.45 we will host a One Planet Picnic in school to which you are all invited. The purpose of this is twofold:
To celebrate our achievement of the Silver Certificate from Eco Schools
To engage with nature by going for a walk before sharing food and playing games together.
The idea is we engage with nature and enjoy some food together that is both good for us and good for the planet. We hope it is a fun way for us to play outside, get to know food, each other and our local area. Our aim is that by sharing local, seasonal food that is organically grown or ethically sourced (as much as possible), we can be more mindful about the food we eat, be less wasteful and make food choices that positively impact…
