Dear Parent Community,
I hope you all had a wonderful November, a month that celebrates a rich variety of traditions and cultures. For many of us, this time of year invites reflection on the events of the past months, while offering a chance to spend quality time with family and friends.
For example, Diwali, the festival of lights, is a time to celebrate inner light, prosperity, and the unity of community. It marks the beginning of a new year, bringing people together to share joy and hope. Similarly, Thanksgiving is a time for gratitude and togetherness. It’s a moment to gather with loved ones, share a traditional meal, and express appreciation for the blessings in our lives.
In this spirit of gratitude, I want to express my heartfelt thanks for the diversity and multicultural richness that make our school community so special. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to get to know each of you and to share meaningful moments together—whether at school events, coffee mornings, or Parent Association activities. I have learned so much from your experiences and backgrounds, and I truly cherish our connections. Thank you!
Looking ahead, I’m excited to share a sneak peek of some upcoming Parent Association events and a special seasonal activity next week. But first, I’d like to highlight an important update: the PA Forum is now live!
We’ve been working to improve our PA website, and one of the newest features is the Forum, which is password-protected. Each parent can create their own login credentials. While we’ve already posted a few items, we believe the Forum can become a valuable space for further connection and communication within our community.
If you have something to sell or swap, want to connect with another family—whether from a similar or different cultural background—or have any other non-academic questions, this is the place to go. It’s a new initiative, and we’re open to suggestions on how to improve it further. Please feel free to share your ideas with us!
We also have a Members App, where you can see from the comfort of your phone the coming up dates for the activities. If you join and create your private log in you can also navigate on our members only area on the page: APP LINK
DEC Wed 4th | Open PA Meeting| RSVP LINK
Please come and visit the Parent Association. According to many google searches, why is it important for Parents to get involved with the PA from your school? I found out that “Parent involvement helps extend teaching outside the classroom, creates a more positive experience for children and helps children perform better when they are in school.” I would have to add that there is much more than that. You create friendship and camaraderie with other parents, and have memories that will last for a lifetime.
We meet once a month in the school canteen. Please welcome to join!
DEC Wed 5th | Arts & Craft Meeting| RSVP LINK
Arts & Crafts meetups are for parents that like to meet once a month for a coffee and work on individual projects, sometimes the group chooses a project to work on together or even go out for a crafty workshop/ tour. Please contact or join the Whatsapp chat.
